Writing one of these personals is always tricky, and it always seems to play out like a delicate dance. It's all about being graceful and careful with your steps. You've got to navigate explaining who you are, explore who you believe would make a nice match, and provide a little narrative or starting point to open on. It's a challenging piece of business to manage, considering most people will only hang around for a little while, if at all, before jumping ahead.

I'm a simple sort of guy who's also little complex in his own way. I don't know if you'd call it a duality of nature, but I'm like that on a lot of things. For instance, nothing makes me happier than grabbing a beer with friends, catching a game at Dodger stadium, or a "punk rock" indie wrestling show in downtown, but I'm also, like, really into art. I'm not well-versed, but I've been to a few musicals, had a great time at the last John Leguizamo stage play I went to, and enjoy reading all about self-help and history when I can. More importantly, I'm very open to doing and learning more. Ideally, we're the same type, and you'd enjoy grabbing a drink with me, talking about all sorts of things from the universe, to why we're here and where we're going, to society crumbling around us, or you know, happy things too. We could people-watch, take in the world, and split a nice sangria.

I'm also the type that likes slow dark coffee mornings soundtracked by mellow music and a little weed. Concerts and comedy shows are my jam, but I also love being a quiet homebody tucked under a blanket with a remote and a list of odd genre picks.

Hopefully we connect. I'm not looking for someone that's exactly like me or thinks the way I do, but I would love someone that similarly enjoys deep conversation and exploring thoughts, sharing who we are, and being excited in the same types of way. I'm a passionate guy and I appreciate people that are also passionate, people who care about their careers, hobbies, and interests. I think balance and fulfillment are very important and hope you feel the same.
