Hello,

I feel that I am someone who has a duality of mind of that of an engineer, someone that notices very fine details from small architectural details in an old home to being able to recognize a car by the sound of its engine/exhaust note to hearing a small instrumental part buried in a mix of a song with a creative side of me that enjoys creating artwork, doing photography, playing music (jazz is a favourite of mine), dance as well as writing.

I also enjoy spending time in nature/nature conservation, raising butterflies, listening to music (jazz, math rock, 90's drum 'n' bass, ambient soundscapes, wave, obscure psychedelic rock and more), skiing, long distance cycling/walking, restoring antique radios, electrical engineering and amateur radio, cooking, reading, researching old architecture, vintage cars and more.

Communication is something that I find is extremely important for a relationship. That, combined with trust, in my opinion forms the foundation of a relationship. Without these two aspects I feel that a relationship really cannot stand.

I do not want to have children and only want to be in a relationship with someone who feels the same. I don’t have anything against people who want to have children however I know that it is something that I do not want in my life.

I’m an introvert but I also very much enjoy engaging socially with people as it brings me a great deal of joy. However, I do not do well in crowds as the increased amount of sensory input which causes me to tire more quickly. I usually require a bit of rest after a social engagement.

Physical touch and intimacy is a love language for me and is something that I consider very important to a relationship. I feel that these behaviours can express feelings and emotions that otherwise are very hard to convey through words. Intimacy between two partners is something that can be exceptionally beautiful, affirming, sacred and special. I'm kink friendly and a gentle dominant in personality.

I'm not religious but I am okay with others being religious so long as they do not push their beliefs on me.

I'm liberal/left in my political orientation and am pro science, pro choice, support the LGTBQ community and am vaccinated.

I don’t drink. I don’t mind if you drink socially but someone who drinks to the point where they are mentally altered is something that I do not like as I find it unsettling. I do not use any drugs and expect my partner to be the same. I’m not 4/20 friendly. I also do not have any tolerance for someone who smokes or vapes as I have a smoke allergy that negatively affects my breathing. So, if you often spend time with friends who smoke then I do not think that we would get on well as I’m very sensitive to the smell of smoke.

I'm 6' 2" tall and I do my best to eat well and exercise. I take my sexual health seriously and am regularly tested for STD's. I expect the same of you as well.

I'd prefer if you were pet free however I would be okay with a cat. Due to sensory sensitivities I cannot be around dogs.

I would prefer to find someone local. However, I am open to meeting someone within the NY, NJ, CT, MA, VT area. As long as I can reach you by reasonable distance Amtrak trip and a short Uber ride I can likely make it work. Due to sensory issues from being on the Autism spectrum I currently do not drive however I am working towards being able to drive within the next year.
