Looking for a friend group, rave fam, dates, and a long term partner. Long distance is cool with me- I will call your bluff and travel places if we click. Dating in this city is strange, and I don't often find myself where the average 30-something might be (no bars/happy hours/etc.) and I'm in the service industry. My hours aren't easy to work with to meet people my age, and I don't want to go to some dive with my coworkers. When I go out, usually to a show or concert (thankfully it's often after work), I roll solo and I'm always sober. This is where you come in! I'm a big texter, which is important to capitalize on the spare time I DO have to get to know you if we can't meet up a lot. I go to festivals often, I take myself out to eat, I love museums/aquarium/zoo and exhibition (art) activities. I'm a dog person. I would rather go to a halal cart than grab a drink if you're looking for an easy-out low-stakes meetup/first date.

Some hard truths about me:

• I won't move away from NYC any time soon, but travel is fine; sharing time around the US or being transatlantic (preference for UK) is absolutely doable for me. I own property and do not plan to raise future kids anywhere else but here.

• I am not into drinking or activities based around it but while I don't do drugs I love the activities based around them. I know, it is what it is. Friends and rave fam can do both of those things with me (I'll be your rave mom!) but my romantic partner won't be a user or big drinker. Drinking without frequent excess and 420 is all fine as long as it's not your entire personality.

• I don't date gamers. Consider yourself a gamer in my eyes if you could easily clock 25 hours on a new game in a weekend/<72 hours. Been there, I'd like to avoid it in the future. Sorry if this one stung a little. Friends in this realm are fine, however. Ask for my discord so I can bother you all the time while you play!

• No Vegans or non-allergy Gluten Free eaters. I'm a home chef, former professional chef, and currently working in the Michelin restaurant sphere in FOH. It's about food options for me moreso than the ethos. You do what you think you need to do, but I won't be limiting our restaurant reservation selection, experiences, or cooking two separate meals to accommodate. SIA.

• No cigarettes or nicotine products.

• I'm not religious and ideally neither are you.

• For future partners: I'm HSV , medicated and responsible. If you'd like to understand more about this I'm happy to have the conversation. I don't want to speak with anyone who isn't willing to see this for what it is, knows how minor it can be, and is able to be mature about this lightly unfortunate, common issue. I'm aware this is possibly part of why I'm still single, but I'm willing to put myself out there to surpass this obstacle with the right person. No secrets.
