Personal Trainers: what's their hourly rate?
Post Body

Just wondering about gyms or health clubs in the Quincy area, or Boston Sports Club in Dorchester: what is a common hourly rate for personal training sessions? $80 per hour? $90?

Probably packages one can buy where each session is cheaper than individual sessions.

Maybe some aren't even an hour, but a half hour?

From past experience years ago, calling doesn't help, as few or no clubs seemed willing to divulge their rates on the phone.

Even the Quincy YMCA, while there in person, couldn't answer, without just telling me to call a certain phone number for more info. I think their trainers work independently of the gym?

And Planet Fitness doesn't have traditional personal training....but I can sign up for free one on one exercise machine help. At least back in 2012.

I actually want a personal trainer I can pay.
