I'm looking to buy a pair of binoculars for long-term observation. I already have a 7x rangefinder, so I'd like something more powerful than that. I'm ok with them being a little big, because again, it's for long-term observation. I can use my rangefinder for quick peeks.
I know that typically, the more you spend means higher quality, but I also know that twice the price doesn't necessarily mean twice as good. Let's say I have a $400 budget and go from there. It's a starting point, but hardly a set limit.
What do y'all recommend? I'd like something with at least 10x, preferably more, a large objective lens, good glass clarity, and ability to mount to a tripod. Bonus points if it has a mil reticle. I also have access to military discounts on EuroOptic.
