So I've been doing psychedelics for a while now, since the beginning of my drug use. Acid was the first true drug that I tried (I don't count weed). I used to take it a good bit. It used to be my favourite drug. Then I discovered shrooms and now it has replaced acid as my fav drug. I honestly have no desire to do acid again.

First of all acid lasts too long for my liking. You have to make sure you have the entire day free. I feel like I don't really want to be tripping anymore after 12 hours. I usually need to take a benzo so I can fall asleep.

Shroom trips are short and sweet in comparison. I can eat the shrooms at 4 pm and then I would be coming down at 8. I can smoke weed, eat dinner and fall asleep no problem after a shroom trip.

I think shrooms are easier to manage than acid. IMO a bad acid trip is way worse coz the trip is so long. You could be stuck in a nightmare for 12 hours straight. A bad shroom trip doesn't sound that bad in comparison coz at least it will be over in a few hours.

I find that the shroom high is more chill than acid. From my experience the acid head space has more thoughts and mind fuckery. I found that it's easier for an acid trip to turn bad because of that. Once you take shrooms while in a good set and setting, it's harder for the trip to go bad from my experience.

It's easier to dose shrooms. Sometimes acid can be a bit overdosed or underdosed. You can accidentally take too much and have an overwhelming trip. With shrooms, you can just weigh them and you know exactly how much you're taking.

I had my latest shroom trip only 4 days ago. I ate 2.75g and it was such a beautiful and breathtaking experience. I definitely want to do them a few more times. I've never done DMT but that's definitely on my bucket list.
