So last night I meditated (I’m an extreme beginner with no real prior success, and first attempt in 7 years), starting downstairs on my couch while my gf was upstairs in bed.I was in a very lucid type state for a short time and couldn’t hold it, but everything else seemed very clear. I then proceeded to go upstairs to bed so I wouldn’t miss my alarm this morning if I fell asleep trying to achieve that state while on the couch. I layed down and started focusing on my breathing, and quieting my thoughts when my mind would wander which I was very aware of. I achieved the lucid like state again but don’t remember much of what was going on if anything, and I remember hearing her wake up from beside me to go to the bathroom and I could see everything that was going on inside the bedroom but my eyes were closed. About an hr ago she tells me the craziest thing happened last night. That when she got up to go to the bathroom she reached over to feel if I was in the bed (which she does every night cuz I have a tendency to fall asleep on the couch), but she didn’t feel me. So she rolled over, and then didn’t see me. She went to the bathroom, then proceeded to go wake me up off the couch to come to bed. But She didn’t see me there either. When she came back upstairs she had turned all the lights to find me laying in the bed where I had been the whole time and it had scared her because she swore she didn’t see me. She said she was getting goosebumps again telling this to me tonight. Idk if I’m thinking to much into this and maybe she was just real sleepy. But yeah, I then woke up to her eating a snack in the bed and she had said it freaked her out so much she didn’t wanna say anything last night.
