Best printer for a first-time 3D printer?

Post Body
Hey all
What would you all recommend as someone's first printer for printing miniatures? I poked around /r/3dprinting a little bit, but couldn't find any solid recommendations, so I figured I would ask here.
I'd prefer to get something that I can use right out of the box, if possible, and my max budget would be around $500. I'd be looking for something that could get me as close to tabletop quality within that budget.
Let me know if I need to provide more info.
Thanks!
