Hi. So I'm fairly new to powershell and fell into scripting a few days in and enjoying it. I've written a script that helps me loads to locate online devices by name and pull down their location, user etc.
I have various tools at my disposal and and pulling information from:
Sccm, Active Directory, The actual device
Problem is that one of my roles is to find missing laptops. We have approx 2000 in the organisation and are spread geographically across 70 locations. This is where my script falls down - real-time information.
I need to find out:
When a device was last on line Who was logged in Where were they logged in (IP Address)
I have access to AD, dhcp, DNS, Sccm, Mcafee EPO but have tried to pull the info using various methods and can't get results. It's strange that Sccm will tell me everything but leaves the last user blank.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
