Bidet thread not mating
Post Body

I bought a bidet spray. The spray and the flush tank both have 7/8 fitting. Bidet T joint has a 304 steel and the flush rank has plastic OD threads.

Why won’t it connect. The T joint starts tilting mid way and then starts leaking if I turn the valve on.

Would a plastic mating plastic be a better option?

I had the same issue with a different one, but a plumber was able to get the threads to mate. Was it brute force? Was it correct tools? I will never know.
