I wanted to post a video to show what is happening with my newly installed flushmate, I called Flushmate yesterday and learned that the unit should shut off normally after 40 to 45 seconds, however, mine keeps running after flushing. When I take the lid off I notice the lever stays raised when it should drop causing the unit to fill properly and shut off, instead I have to press the actuator and then the lever goes flush like normal, I then need to flush the toilet one more time which makes the unit shut off properly.
Any idea why it is doing this? And what can I do to fix it?
Old unit was called a PF/2 Energizer and was much louder lol these toilets are great if you can calibrate them properly
This toilet was bought over 20 years ago, the commode is fine, the original unit was called a PF/2 Energizer and I replaced it with the flushmate
Could be, I just flushed it again twice and the unit refilled and shut off properly in under 50 seconds like it should, I'll continue to keep an eye on it but it's just strange....glad I got this first video recorded to prove that it kept running.
The cartridge is brand new, would you say it just needs a cartridge adjustment?
