Using Plex Home Users for Outside Household

Post Body

I found the skip intro feature and I want to add it to my Plex Server for myself and for my friends. When reading about the skip intro feature, one of the requirements is that the server admin account needed Plex Pass and the user using the player app.

That means, for instance, that even if there are intro detection markers on a server, a shared user for that server will need a Plex Pass to be able to skip the intros when playing content.

One way around this I see is having Plex accounts in Plex Home. With Plex Pass, you are able to add other plex accounts to your Plex Home. However, all the users I would want to have access to my server are outside my household. Are there any roadblocks I'm missing to having their plex accounts added to my Plex Home? Or is there a better alternative for this?
