Heads up, full body scanners DO pick up genital piercings

I recently got my cock repierced and am traveling through the airport. I had to go through one of those full body scanners (not just the metal detector) I got pulled aside for a pat down. Heads up if you're traveling with friends or family; maybe temporarily remove the piercing when going through security to avoid an awkward conversation.
