I currently bank with TD. I switched to them from Scotiabank a few years ago when Scotia wouldn't give me a consolidation loan, but TD would. I've paid off some debt since then, and this is what remains:
TD Chequing account ($16/month, but currently not being paid because I have >$4000 in my account)
TD Savings account with $300 in it (I don't really use it, but might once I get my financials sorted a bit)
TD Visa
TD vehicle loan for an ATV
TD Small Business Chequing account ($40/m)
TD Small Business Savings account (I believe free, but I didn't really get much information on it)
I just signed up for the two small business accounts. I want somewhere to store the tax I collect and I want to start separating personal from business.
I was okay spending $16/m before I had enough in my account, since my personal account is unlimited withdrawals, deposits, e-transfers etc. The $40/m for the business account is what is bugging me. There's a limit of 20 deposits (e-transfers included) per month, and I receive more than that monthly. I also don't really want to pay $40/m just to store my money in a different "folder".
Anybody else in a similar situation using a bank with better prices / deals?
Ideally I want 1 personal chequing, 1 personal savings, 1 business chequing, 1 business savings, and a credit card with a small limit ($500 / $1000).
Thank you :)
