For those who have had success with Dr. Sarno’s book, how do you tell the difference between physical ailment/injury and psychological/emotion distress causing pain?

I am intrigued by Sarno and feel like it could benefit me. Over the last years, I’ve dealt a lot with a lot of stress and anxiety that I’m sure has contributed to my pain and stiffness. This makes me think it’s psychological. However, I still go to a physical therapist who tells me my pelvic floor is not quite 100% strong again and I still have certain weaknesses in the hips glutes inner thighs. For example, i can only do light light squats before fatiguing. Additionally, I’m chronically stiff in many places that gives me limited mobility to perform certain exercises to the fullest. This makes me think it’s real physical issue. Additionally, I feel like my stress anxiety about having chronic pelvic pain for so long has increased my emotional sensitivity which intensified all the stiffness…. How do you know, especially when a PT sees what she is seeing?
