I just recently completed my build yesterday, and i'm struggling with my RGB Case Fans.
The MOBO is an MSI MEG Z590 UNIFY, I have 3 Raijintek EOS 12 RVW ADD L-1 Fans, 2 Cooler Master Mobius 140P ARGB Fans, and a Cooler Master MasterAir MA612 Stealth ARGB CPU Cooler. Currently, all of my case Fans run, but none of them light up. My CPU Cooler lights up, but none of the RGB software (included with MSI Board or otherwise) recognize the cooler, so I can't change anything. The bios is the most recent version, as I did a fresh windows install for the build and had to update said bios to even access tpm settings and actually install windows, and everything does technically function as a fan should, Temps are stable, under load no issues.
The raijintek Fans use the 4 pin 5v connector, and the coolermaster 140s use the 4-slot 3 pin connector, and I had places on the mobo to plug everything in except for 1 of my raijintek Fans.
I will admit, I was trying to be as cost effective as possible, hence the mismatched manufacturers for all my fans, and I don't know if just getting a fan/rgb hub (technically I'd need two, one Cooler master and one raijintek), or if there's a deeper issue that causes me to have no lights at all.
I knew RGB was going to be a pain, but I've always loved the looks of kitted out and pretty lighting, and I wanted my first build to be mine, and that meant I wanted RGB puke, no shame.
Would it be easier, say, to order Fans of the same brand, either switching my 120s to coolermaster, or switching my 140s to raijintek?
I could understand if they would at least light up even if I couldn't change them, but I have no lights except on the Cooler Fans, and I can't even change those lights.
I'm kinda at a loss of what to do, and any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
