We are going on our honeymoon on 6/5 which is the date I listed as my date of travel. My passport expired last June and I had procrastinated hard. It was totally worth the extra fees for expediting for me, just for peace of mind. I hope you all have as good of luck as I did!

• 4/22 - Mailed my renewal package with expedited fees and 2-day priority mail
• 4/24 - Package shows delivered to PO Box in Philadelphia and picked up by individual (this was a Sunday so I was pretty surprised)
• 4/26 - Status website shows received and "In Process" and checked my bank to confirm the check was deposited
• 5/9 AM - I checked the status website again and it still says "In Process," panicked and sent a letter to my congressman with the signed release letter
• 5/9 2:00 PM - Status website now says "Approved" ... Ha! Of course it does after I mail my letter
• 5/11 - I get my informed delivery email and it shows a package coming out of Tucson that should be delivered tomorrow!
