How many hours per week do you spend with your child

Post Body

I did the math, after the age of 7 I saw my mom a total of 5 hours between Mon-Sun growing up. That included drives to school and I was her only child (step kids visited on weekends).

Now as a working parent, I spend about 21-28 hours a week with my 7 year old.

How many hours do you spend with your children?

edit: I spend about ~3 hours per weekday, and about 14 total on weekends outside of playdates (that I don't go to), errands, chores/hobbies

Yeah, just different times. I asked my dad the other day if there was anything special he learned from his own father or like something special he remembered about spending time with him and he replied "oh I never spoke to my father" lmao like it's normal

Did your mom have two jobs or something? Do you know why it was so little time
