I kid you not, my baby genius has managed to break THREE different kinds of baby locks. NOTE: I live in an apartment and CANNOT screw or nail anything into the places I need to lock!!

Okay, I’ll be transparent; I’m talking about a cat, but she has left me no other options! Please help a pawrent, parents.

She opens cabinets!! She will work at them and work at them from the bottom to loosen a baby lock.

When one isn’t on, she will use the side of the cabinet.

I have used:

The plastic ones that go over the knobs of duel cabinets and hold them together. They were kind of rounded on the edge and the clip part, I think was sometimes hard to put back on?

The baby locks seemed to slide no matter how small you made them with the clip (how tight).

The second ones were the ones with adhesive that affix to the cabinets themselves and there is a silicone stretchy center that holds the two plastic pieces on each cabinet door and lock. Once she first broke this, the lock would not snap back into the piece it attached to.

And another kind I honestly can’t recall, but would probably if I saw them; if a commenter mentions them, I will edit the post.

She has also recently decided she is fascinated by the doors where the laundry machines are; once the she’s done this, she will jump up on the machines. I’m terrified because she can easily get stuck behind between the wall and machines. These doors slide and are at a weird angle where they are sometimes triangular/not flush. Any ideas for something that will also work here?
