it’s 3:30 am and i feel like sharing an experience i had when i was younger.

i was probably around 7? maybe a bit younger, maybe a bit older (i’m 26 now). i remember my mom and brothers used to live in this one house where i think the previous owner (an old man) died in. we used to call him “the man in the red suit” because when my brothers saw him, that’s what he was wearing. my brothers used to always go in the basement and play with him and talk to him. i never saw him but i had some weird things happen that could’ve been him? to this day i refuse to sleep on the top bunk of a bunk bed because EVERY time I did, i’d have the same dream over and over again. it would be a green hand coming from the ceiling and ticking me until i woke up. (silly but annoying) and it was always in 3rd person. also one time when sleeping on the bottom bunk, i was dreaming normal dreams, then out of nowhere it switched to like a 3rd person perspective of something coming in the room and i woke up to (what i thought and still think) was someone hitting/smacking me on my ass/back. horrified i checked on my brothers to see if it was them and they were completely asleep. i checked my sisters room and she was also asleep. i went in my moms room and slept with her that night.
