Sell furniture..

Why can't we sell furniture?
We can cook and sell food.. But not craft and sell furniture..
It's kind of dumb..
I want to be a carpenter, who makes my gold from carpentry.. but no.. I have to scavange and sell resources I would actually need..
And now I have no reason to craft anything, beside the stuff I need crafted for quests.
