[Other] My boyfriend's doctors recommended a modified paleo diet and he is doing amazing while I feel hungry, tired, and sick all the time.

Also, we're spending so much money on food!

We live together and he makes all the food, even if he didn't, we can't really afford to have two different diets.

Mostly what we eat are combinations of eggs, meat, beans, cabbage, and anything pickled. Since it's not completely paleo, we also eat corn and brown rice, but not much. Also lots of nuts.

I'm either starving and spacey/tired or my stomach hurts like I swallowed a stone. He feels so much energy, is losing weight, but I feel so sad. I'm typically the one with all the energy, but I have been struggling to get out of bed and stay out every day. Also, my skin feels horrible. I moisturize like crazy but I'm itchy and I've got zits, two things that seem like they shouldn't be happening in concert.

I'm going to the doctor today (same doctor) so I'm hoping she can tell me what's up, but have you guys heard of anything like this before?

It's like we've completely flipped. I used to be able to go long periods without eating and feel pretty fine, but now he's the one who won't eat all day, which means he won't make anything all day so I'm just eating nuts and peanut-butter and pickles for most of my meals because I am so hungry.

Edit: A lot of you guys said I was probably low on calories, and I just weighed myself. Apparently I lost 6 pounds in the last 2 weeks. That pretty much proves it to me. No wonder I'm such a mess!
