Armani or Estee Lauder ?

Bonjour!

I'm getting married in 2025 and I have some trouble to find a good looking foundation for my textured pale skin.

I will be doing my own makeup with the help of a friend who is a former MUA. I have some allergies to several ingredients found in cosmetics so I am a little limited in my choice of product.

Over the years I have tried many foundations and have never found a product that looks like "my skin but better". I always feel like I'm wearing a crusty mask.

For my wedding, I would like an even complexion without the mask effect.

I'm 42 years old so I have small wrinkles, some visible pores on nose and cheeks and also some small scars.

There's a lot of good reviews for Armani Luminous Silk and Estee Lauder but I dont want to buy both just to try as they are pricey.

Which would be better between Armani Luminous Silk or Double Wear Estee Lauder for a natural finish which doesnt set in fine lines nor enhances imperfections? I would like a buttery feeling on the skin when blended.

And which method of application is the best for these products?

Thank you so much!

I use EL double wear almost daily and love it. Lasts all freaking day and the pale range is very extensive.

Ulta and Sephora will give you free samples and their return policies are excellent in case something doesnโ€™t work out.

Good luck OP and congratulations!
