Just bought my first PlayStation since the PSX, what should I know?

So seeing all those God of War reviews made my knees weak and I just put an order for the PS4 pro bundle.
I've not owned a Sony console since the PSX, then I had a X360 and now I only own a switch and a PC which has been my main gaming device for a really long time.
Are there any new things I need to know, or should pay attention to? Any hidden settings on the console that are important, other useful tidbits and just in general relevant stuff.
Or should I just jump in, enjoy the ride and discover what there is to discover?
I'm mostly planning on buying exlucisves for it, and I'm really looking forward to things like Persona. I'm quite excited and can't wait for it to arrive.
