So I'm trying to plan a return journey to my ancestral homeland of Peru in the foreseeable future. I've been to Lima, Ica, Nazca and other locations. I am planning on returning to Cuzco and doing a hiking trail to Macchu Picchu. I've been to both sites before using the train to Agua Calientes, but I would like to bring my girlfriend and do either the Inka or Salkantay trek to the site. We would plan around 1-2 days in Cuzco before starting our journey. She would be site seeing and learning about our glorious Inca history (she's Ecuadorian), while I would just be remembering my childhood memories of these sites.
Any recommendable tour companies to take? I've seen posts in the past about Alpaca Expeditions and such, but would like to get opinions.
Gracias!
