New to PHEV longer journey
Post Body

So I'm new to PHEV - 2015 Outlander. My question or confirmation of what I'm doing and some advice for my usual commute. Battery reset and shows 60 kms range which drops quickly but a realistic 45 kms.

I travel to an international airport every 2 weeks for work (180 kms) work a week and return to the car for the same journey home (180 kms). Rinse and repeat.

My journey from home starts on a full battery. When I run out I just drive to my long term park.

When I get back obviously the battery is still at 0 kms. I drive home in charge mode until about 40 kms of range shows and then go into normal mode and repeat until I'm showing the approximate to range to home. I get home on 0 kms range.

Should I continue like this?

Should I change things?

It's the battery at 0 for a week a bad thing?

Should I plug in on my journey either to or from the airport?

Your thoughts and suggestions are welcome.
