As a social experiment, one journalist created a fake dating site profile. Her profile information was abhorrent. "Her" photo was attractive. These are the results.
Post Body

I searched to see if anyone had posted this previously, and I didn't find anything. I apologize if this is a repost.

So a woman from Cracked.com decided to try something new to see what would happen. She created a fake online dating profile. She was not catfishing, however, as she was not luring anyone into a relationship. She was merely gauging the responses.

In her profile information, she made her personality sound as unappealing as humanly possible. Just unapologetically deplorable. Her profile photo, however, was that of a friend who was a professional model.

The responses may or may not surprise you. She was inundated with messages from suitors, and all of them were interested in her. She tried several different methods to deter them, but the results were always the same.

It's an amusing read if you don't mind the crude language.
