On this cold September morning I find myself contemplating important things like what to have for lunch and why places you keep boats are called boat houses but if you call a garage a car house people think you're weird. How's your day going?

Well anyway, I'm tall, medium build. with medium length brown and slightly grey hair and a beard. Imagine if you'd ordered Bradley Cooper off Wish or something and you'd ended up with the knock-off version - yes, that's me. Not even going bald yet which is a positive for me at least. I'm a creative and artistic sort of person. I've even sold some writing and art things but it wasn't successful enough to live on. My main job is more scientific, so I'm a mix of an artistic, sensitive scientist if that makes any sense. A bit of a dreamer but also weirdly logical. My life has been in the reverse Benjamin Button style so far and I expect it to continue that way.

My interests are similar to most people. Watching films, other series. music - listening to and playing, walks in the country. I should probably dress that up a bit and call it hiking because everyone here likes hiking. To be honest I don't really know the difference. Presumably it's something like needing a rucksack for it to be called hiking. I'm a laid back sort, live and let live, don't get too angry about things liberal type of person.

Tell me all about you. I want to know everything. I know 'everything' is a lot in one message but maybe start with something basic like your age, location, something you like doing. At least I'll know you (skim) read my post. Maybe I'm not the one for you if you're still getting over your last partner, aren't sure an OA is right for you, don't have the time to talk because you're too busy, etc.

I have an open mind as long as you don't go quiet for days on end, are sort of fun and cute, fun, charming and delightful, or any combination of things related to those words. Basically I'll talk to anyone nice as long as you write more than five words in your replies. Hopefully you don't go to sleep one day and suddenly vanish but it's the OA way and I'm starting to accept it.
