I was working on some pages, closed my computer and when I opened it all the notes in that notebook section were gone, including some which i have not touched for weeks. I checked all my other notebooks and it seems like only those pages from that certain section were gone.

• I have checked Onenote online
• logging out and in again
• Checked recents (couldn't be found like they did not exist at all)
• Checked deleted on OneDrive

All of them shows no signs of the notes existing, any advice on how I can get it back? Those are very important documents that I need for an exam

Edit: I’m usually on the Windows 10 OneNote and I have managed to get everything that I lost by opening OneNote 2016 and finding them in deleted. I could not find the recover option and had to copy and paste everything.
