How does one fit there calories in one meal?

I've been doing intermittent fasting for the last few weeks. And two days a week I've tried OMAD to see how it would fit into my lifestyle. I like the thought of only planning one meal, however I'm not sure I can get all my calories in at that meal. The most I've consumed is 800-1000 calories in those meals and that's pushing it.

For reference I should be eating 1800-2000 calories a day according to the TDEE site. I'm 55, 300lbs and looking to lose about 125lbs.

Is it possible to be that low and not have any repercussions? Also, I'm married so my wife isn't into OMAD so whatever she wants to eat is usually what we have.
