NP called and confirmed she wanted to use the ear drops in the patients eye.

I called on a script for some ear drops with directions 1gtt qd os. To confirm it was meant for the ears not eyes. NP said nope that’s how she wanted it and to “just fill what she wrote” needless to say we refused to fill it and called the pt explaining the situation.
p.s you can use eye drops in ears but not ear drops in eyes.
