How do girls talk about problems compared to guys?

Post Body

Post was initiated by reading someone say “typical male problem solving behavior”, and it made my head tilt a lil. Like I know in general that there’s generally two types of people (male/female) that either have a problem and want solutions to solve it OR have a problem but rather just wants to vent/seek empathy for it.

I guess my question is more so about the later camp and what benefits does “support” give you?

-is it just a feeling of knowing you’re not alone in the struggle?

-seeking if people have went through similar circumstances that relate to yourself

-can’t think of a third option

Edit - The question isn’t necessarily gendered but I can’t change the title
