So I'm still fairly new to reddit, so bear with me here. I frequently see cross posts on the front page. I understand the concept of it. However, what I'm wondering is: let's say I make a post and I get 500 upvotes, and someone cross posts it to another subreddit and they get 10000 upvotes, so do I recieve karma as well from the upvotes they receive on their cross post? I always see people's original posts with almost no upvotes, and the cross posts has tens of thousands and I always feel kinda bad for the OP. Edit: words and spelling
