Brain implant ? Yay, or Nay?

Would you get a brain implant that makes you think faster and be more knowledgeable like a computer if it became common in the future? Let's say employers start favoring people with the implant over those without, making it harder to compete in the job market without one. However, the trade-off is that over generations, it could make people less 'human' in certain ways. Would you take the risk? Why or why not?
