So I’m 19M and I get really anxious in social settings quite often. When this happens and even when I’m not I’m always in my mind overthinking and over analyzing every little thing. It’s suffocating and makes it really difficult to socialize and get comfortable. Ik in theory I should just stop thinking and try to go with the flow/vibe, but I can’t just turn off my thoughts. I was hoping I could get some insight from your suggestions, and really anything would help. Just trying to focus on myself and improve in areas where I’m lacking. This has been a road block for me for a while and I’m getting really frustrated because it’s starting to ruin relationships I’ve had with friends over 10 yrs. What have you guys done that have helped you deal with this?
