Long story short, I was pulled over and charged with an MIP in Michigan for weed. I was driving and did a field sobriety test, passed and was allowed to drive home. Like I said I was only charged with an MIP, but I mistakenly and stupidly admitting to smoking previously, which prompted the test. It’s coming up on two years since the incident, can I be charged with something worse? If so how likely is it that will be charged? I paid the ticket for the MIP way back when it happened (which is a civil infraction in michigan).
It’s making me super anxious, I haven’t received a letter from the court or anything in the mail at least from what I’m aware of. Am I over thinking?
