This is more towards people who have work at restaurants such as chefs or waiters now or before, but I welcome all opinions based on your line of work.
I wanted to know how long your break is at your restaurant and if it's illegal to have only one 30 minute break for an 8 hour shift than one hour.
When I worked at a fast food joint, Tim Hortons specifically, they only gave me 30 minutes because our city's employment standards was that they weren't required to give coffee breaks, whereas some restaurants may give coffee breaks and one lunch break.
