What would a non-nuclear bomb with a yield of 1 gigaton do?
Post Body

To my knowledge a nuclear device of such capacity would carry radioactive particles well across the globe causing some major problems. However hypothetically if a device could be made that yielded 1 gigaton or more with traditional explosives without just using a massive pile of TNT, what would be the damage (radius of explosion, shockwave, debris scattered across the planet, ect.)
