I personally find it hard to be happy or not flinch when people show pictures of themselves with their family or talk about their all nighters with friends that drag them out . I know it sounds selfish . My family of devout Christian’s never could get over the fact that I was gay. So I found it better to ostracize myself from them for my own growth and acceptance. And for some reason I’m not really good at having the kinds of friends you could sleep on their couch or ones that remember your birthday. It never gets past good associates and Im pretty old so I’ve accepted that probably won’t happen for me . I just want to know who else in my position or close can say they’re content with this ?
