You could earn achivments and get rewarded with those Nintendo Eshop coins that you can use to pay for games! So for like BOTW an achivments can be free all the divine beasts or find 100 koroks and earn like 50-100 Eshop coins. This system would motivate players into playing and finishing more games as well as increasing sales by have people just spend an extra 15 dollars to buy a game they want plus with the coins they earned for a game they wouldn't have bought anyway since it was like 40 dollars!
