Our beautiful girl was born at 10pm on Thursday night. Some meconium poop came out when she was born and she took a decent sized meconium poop in her diaper.
She has been peeing well and that’s not an issue. We have fed her donor milk since the wife is trying to pump. We finally arrived home and she hasn’t pooped yet.
The nurses said with actual breast milk they don’t poop as much since they absorb a lot of it vs formula since they pass stuff they won’t absorb?
Trying not to terrify myself as a new parent, have parents experienced this before?
