Has anyone else been to Rock River? It's probably my favorite dog park in Vermont. It's located off of Hwy 30 in Dummerston.

To get there, you park at the large parking area across the highway from Depot Road. There's a beach down in the woods there for families, that's not your target. Cross the highway to Depot Road. Walk down it for a hundred feet or so until you see a driveway off to the left. This is the access road. Follow this down past the Rock River Cabins, and you'll see a riverside trail. (Wave to the gays in the cabins, they're harmless.) The trail was washed out in Irene, so there's some rough patches. Make sure you have good shoes and can do some light climbing and careful footwork.

The first "beach" you come to is for families, about a mile in. It has a little stream, and everyone is expected to be clothed. Continuing on, you'll come to the straight beach, where nudity begins. A large sandy and rocky beach, a river, some trees and shade and a few campsites. It's a very nice spot to play or just sunbathe and socialize in the buff.

If you cross the river and keep following it, you'll come to the gay area. This is full of guys on the beach or the woods. General rule for the gay spot is no sex on the beach, take it up to the trails.

Make sure to pack your own food and any gear you need. This place is community owned and ran, so please pick up any trash on your way out. There is camping, sex, swimming, sunbathing and the like. And by sex, I mean a LOT of sex, so bring plenty of protection and lube.

With the weather warming up, Rock River should be open again soon! I hope to see everyone there, filling up the beaches and fucking in the woods like the dogs y'all are. 😜😈
