I just learned something pretty awful

I live in Switzerland, I thought it was a great place to transition as some surgeries are covered, but..ยจ

I made a post a while ago saying that after 9 months I basically had no effects, my boobs barely grew and I got absolutely 0 fat distribution

I recently contacted a trans group in my country, and they told me that Switzerland actually has WAY too strict views on HRT, you can't have injections for estrogen, you're forced to use patches, the same patches they give to cis women on menopause, the issue is that they're usually 45, or 50, and even if my levels are "technically right" for my age (24), the results are extremely slowed down by the lack of correct dosage, I'm not allowed to take progesterone either, it's only menopause patches, some T blockers, and wait like, I dunno, 10 years..

I'll have to resort to self-medication, it's apparently common for trans women in my country to have to do that, as otherwise they never get much results, if any

So my 9 months of HRT are basically like.. 1-2 months of "correct HRT", I feel like I've been lied to, deceived, it feels awful. It's hard enough to be a trans woman, I didn't need this on top of everything wrong going on with my life
