When I first graduated college in 2014 a āgoodā salary was $50kā¦ a sweet salary was $60kā¦a crazy salary was $80kā¦ and anything $100k or more was perceived as like winning the lottery.
Now back then I was in my early 20s judging finances through the lens of an early 20 yr old.
But just in a general sense, what is a good salary today? / whatās an incredible salary?
At 30 years old I feel like over $100k salary is ā¦niceā¦like youāre comfortableā¦but it by no means came with the quality of life increase I expected it to.

You must live in a different metropolitan part of Ohio, because $80K is going to be pretty comfortable anywhere in the state. Iād say $50K is going to get you a pretty baseline standard of living in Ohio.
