Hello all! It's great to be back with you! I wanted to speak to you about how National and the rest of the parties differ! One by one, the prophets of doom appeared in our Parliament showing us why we need a National Government. A nation in decline is the only interpretation of our current situation but under a National-led Government, a nation to lead the world we would become. The Muldoon Government, they moaned, was a terrible time in New Zealand; and the only way to prevent even worse times today, they said, is to entrust our nation’s fate and future to the party that in a debate today couldn't justify at all why they deserve a second term. Many policies from National will be announced, all of which we intend to make law, the Alliance? None worth being law, that's for sure.

My friends. The people of New Zealand are not going to buy back into the failed policy of the Alliance, no matter how slick the package or lying and failing their leadership truly are!

The malcontents of their party aside, the time under National was not a terrible time. They were great months. You know it. I know it. And the only people who don’t know it are the carping critics who sat on the sidelines of history, jeering at one of the great statesmen of modern time, Sir Winston. He will lead this party AND THIS COUNTRY to the future New Zealand needs. He is going to be a great statesman and a man who makes us proud!

Under ACT’s days of malaise, National has risen again. Our policy is clear and straightforward, that other lot are defunct and without motivation to lead. Let alone unable and incompetent to do so. Who do you trust with our nation's finances? Who do you trust for strong leadership to make this country what it truly can be great!

Today our choice is clear. The failed policies and government of the past under the Greens and the ACT party for an undeserved return to power or a strong, clear future which is bright under National. The choice is between those who lie not only to themselves about things they knew to be patently false, but also to you! How could you trust any one and any party who would tell you that the most basic things in life are false! My friends, our leg is getting wet and I'm asking you to look up and see that there is no rain, there is no hope in an ACT nor an Alliance future but there is one in a National-led future! My friends, this election day is where you can make your voice be heard and make it be heard! Send running from office every single one of those failed leaders and elect a new class to take us to the future! Give your party vote to this New Zealand National Party this election day!
