I am looking to apply for medical marijuana in Mississippi next week and I ran my decision by my long time doctor and got a surprising answer. Back ground, I have had one spinal fusion in my neck and it’s never been right since I go from a 3 to 10 in pain levels daily and of course my long time doctor has thrown every opioid my way to help, none did. Marijuana is the only pain reliever that works so I’m officially going to apply, when I informed my doctor he let me know that he can no longer prescribe anti anxiety medications to me if I do use marijuana for pain because they require a clean drug test for those meds now. This seems ridiculous am I wrong, and does anyone in the Madison area have an open minded doctor they recommend?
Find another doctor, you’re being discriminated against by your current doctor
