Keeping out the riff-raff

How does everybody keep the riff-raff out of their area/lab/CMM room! The many cling-ons that have never done the job, can’t help but come and stick their nose in causing distraction after distraction, with no consideration for what goes on in these areas! I wondered what other people do to control or restrict access?
