Update: Confirmed negative! Yay! Thank goodness for gc/ms testing.

Welp, my worst nightmare has come true (well one of them pertaining to the clinic). My counselor called this morning to let me know my Nov 30th screen popped dirty for fentanyl! Last month it was a supposed missed callback even though I did my due diligence by calling into a callback line and it told me NOT to come in. Now, a false positive for fentanyl?! He’s sending it off for gc/ms testing, but I’m freaking the fudge out. I’ve cried today and now I cannot enjoy the holiday season until I’m proven innocent. I hear stories all the time about this happening! Add me to the list. It amazes me that you can be clean of all illicit drugs, do the right thing, yet still have your life turned upside down over a faulty test?
