Short synopsis

  • June of 2021: Courts awarded 50/50 custody after a 4 year long divorce and custody trial
  • October of 2021 CPS takes children from Joe on allegations of child abuse
  • March 4th of 2022 a case against him for an "Order of Protection" was dismissed because no evidence of child abuse was found.
    • After 118 days of not seeing his kids, he picks them up from school on March 17th. Then CPS shows up to his house with the cops to have the children removed. CPS lies about having a court order to remove the children.
  • April 2022, Hennepin County charges Joe with 1st degree criminal sexual conduct. This appears to be in response to Joe fighting back against CPS.
  • June 2022, Joe's ex-wife, moves out of state with the children violating a court order
  • July 2022, All charges against Joe are dismissed in a criminal court trial
  • August 2022, Joe files a motion to have child abuse charges in Juvenile court dismissed based on the result of the criminal court trial. Motion is denied.
  • October 2022, Juvenile court to determine the validity of child abuse charges begins. Trial last for 6 weeks.
  • December 2022, After allowing the longest legal period possible to elapse, the Judge of the Juvenile court dismisses the case, but retains jurisdiction.
  • January 2023, Joe files a motion to have Juvenile court jurisdiction terminated and is successful.
    • At this point, ALL charges against Joe have been dismissed. And legally, the only court order still standing is the final divorce decree that allowed for 50/50 custody.
    • His ex-wife then files an emergency motion claiming further abuse of the children by Joe even though he has only seen his children once in the past 15 months.
    • A new judge agrees to hearing and denies Joe's right to see his kids once again.
