Nerdy, wallflower, shy, unconfident, need to go at your own pace, none of this matters, this just means you are normal. If you are free, open minded and interested then let's start by chatting, ask questions of each other, I will do my best to answer but will ask you questions as well. I am normal, honest, sometimes direct, a couple of friends have said they think I'm a little on the weird part of the spectrum (but just a little) which sometimes makes me a little angular on things. I live just outside of London, UK and "can host" whatever that means. Retired with no money cares. I'm not the woulda shoulda coulda type. I'm a reader but don't read enough quality books. I love spending time with my friends, I have some real weirdo friends and some very erudite sophisticated ones too. I have recently come out of an 8 year relationship which was amazing, really amazing. With any relationship there are highs and lows but the highs were head and shoulders above the lows and so much more consistent. She dropped me... we split as friends. I'm very bummed about it but gonna move on. I travel. A lot. I've been in 6 countries this year on 4 different continents. My partner liked me to take control, preferred answering questions to asking. I was her shoulder and the stability in her life. She was open about that and that is what she wanted. I am happy with that kind of relationship, I appeared to do a lot of the work, but actually she effused wonderful waves of love and fun, an endearing eagerness. I run, I cycle but not just for physical health but mental wellbeing too. I love my food probably more than I should, so I'm not slim, but I'm not fat either. You have what I consider to be my qualities, and you can see the qualities I am comfortable with. Don't be weird, but you can be a little crazy. Looking for someone to travel with & do more weekends away. So much of the U.K. (world) I haven’t seen which feels a waste. If you think we might get along please send me a message, no age rejected.
